Attorney Kevin Urbatsch Joins ASNP's Advisory Board

We at the Academy of Special Needs Planners (ASNP) are pleased to announce that California special needs planning attorney Kevin Urbatsch has joined our Advisory Board.

Mr. Urbatsch is a principal of Myers Urbatsch P.C. in San Francisco, where he concentrates on special needs planning and elder law. A prolific writer and presenter, Mr. Urbatsch was the contributing editor of the Continuing Education of the Bar's treatise Special Needs Trusts - Planning, Drafting and Administration and he recently co-authored Special Needs Trusts: Protecting Your Child's Financial Future, which is published by Nolo Press. An active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Mr. Urbatsch was honored with the organization's Presidential Recognition Award for his contributions to special needs law, and he currently serves as the Co-Executive Editor of the NAELA Journal.

Mr. Urbatsch was a charter member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners, and he co-chaired ASNP's 2011 Annual Meeting in San Francisco and its 2009 Annual Meeting in Rancho Bernardo, California. Over the years he has given numerous presentations on all aspects of special needs planning, both for attorneys and the general public, and he has been named a Northern California Super Lawyer and KRON-TV's 2009 Best of the Bay estate planning attorney.
