Rebecca is a partner with the law firm of Weatherby & Associates, P.C. in Bloomfield, Connecticut.

Rebecca graduated magna cum laude from Providence College. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, in addition to completing the Liberal Arts Honors program. Rebecca was selected to participate in the Rhode Island Governor’s Scholarship Program while in college, which provided her with various internship positions, including with the Public Defender’s Office in Providence, RI.  She was also a member of the Providence College Dance Company and the State Ballet of Rhode Island.
Rebecca earned her JD, with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law.  She received the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in ethics, participated in the Labor and Employment Law Clinic/Externship Program, and was trained and certified as a Student Investigator for the Criminal Division Legal Clinic.
Rebecca is admitted to practice in Connecticut and in the federal district court for the District of Connecticut.  She has represented clients on various labor and employment law issues in state and federal court, as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, and the Connecticut Department of Labor.  She is also a former editor of the Connecticut Employment Lawyers’ Association newsletter. 

Rebecca is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and of Wealth Counsel. Her growing practice currently includes business and estate planning, elder law and life care planning, and estate and trust administration.
