Emily J. Young was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama and is an alumnus of Grissom High School and Auburn University. Emily received her Juris Doctor degree from the Birmingham School of Law, where she graduated with honors in 2014.

Emily is currently working towards her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Estate Planning and Elder Law.  She has received advanced training in the areas of Elder Law, Medicare and Medicaid, Estate Planning, Wealth Planning and Taxation, Fiduciary Administration, Special Needs Planning, and more.

She opened Green Mountain Legal Services in March of 2017 with the vision of providing seniors, individuals with special needs, and their families with quality legal services and personalized care.  In 2018, Green Mountain Legal Services was nominated for “Woman Owned Business of the Year” and “Emerging Business of the Year” by the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County.
