Firm Description

The Vaillancourt Law Firm is a team of law moms that help you protect your families with wills, trusts, special needs trusts, and other estate planning documents.

I started my practice to be the advocate my family needed.

My younger brother was born with special needs that weren't diagnosed until he was eight years old. He is hard of hearing and has other cognitive delays.

My parents did the absolute best they could and were loving, caring parents, but my dad died suddenly of a heart attack when I was nine.

My mom was left with four kids to raise on her own, a mortgage to pay as a stay at home mom, and no life insurance payout to even cover funeral expenses for my dad.

She went back to school full time and work full time while also raising my three brothers and me.

My younger brother had a really tough time in school. From bullying to teachers not following his IEP, he was not afforded the free appropriate public education he was entitled to.

I often asked my mom, “Why don't you call a lawyer?”

“I can't even afford the consultation fee, how could I afford the lawyer?” she would answer. Not to mention she had to take time off work (sometimes without pay) to go to school for meetings and try to get my brother the services he deserved.

I felt helpless, until I went to law school myself.

I went to law school knowing I wanted to help people. When I started my own law practice in March of 2020, I wanted to make that vision a reality.

I wanted to help people solve their problems.

I wanted to help people understand their rights.

I wanted to reassure people that they can advocate for themselves and the people they love.

Today, we have a team of amazing law moms who are dedicated to providing you with a positive, caring, and convenient experience.

We offer you the following features:

  • Free consultations (knowledge is power, and we want to empower you!)

  • Flat fees for most cases (you will never be charged for emails or phone calls-we want you to feel comfortable talking with us!)

  • Complimentary annual reviews of your estate plan (to make sure they're up to date as your life evolves)

  • Virtual meetings (don't spend your valuable time commuting to a stuffy office!)

  • Educational resources (you won't leave our meetings feeling confused about all the legal jargon)

  • An attorney who cares deeply about solving your problems (every family is different, and we're here to help address your unique needs in your plan)

I can't go back and be the lawyer my mom and brother needed, but I can help your family today.

Please send me a message today, and let me know how I can help you make estate planning feel like a piece of cake!
