Don is passionate about serving others. After careers in the military and federal government, Don pursued a law degree while working as a senior consultant to the federal government.
Don's daughter, Ashley, is a special needs person and has been a great influence in his life. As Ashley grew older, it became apparent that Don and his wife would need to carefully plan for Ashley's future. Like many parents, they had no idea where to start and fumbled their way through the system. That experience played a large part in Don's decision to practice law and help families with their estate planning and other legal needs.
Don and his family first moved to Prince William County in 1997 and are proud to call Dale City their home.
Don graduated magna cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. In addition to the mandatory coursework, he focused his studies on Arbitration Law, Elder Law, Estates and Trusts, Family Mediation, and Bankruptcy Law.
I established my law office to offer legal services in Estate Planning, Family Law, and Bankruptcy; paying special attention to both military/veterans' issues and special needs concerns. My background gives me the ability to see your situation through the eyes of someone who has been there.
I work hard to help clients in every situation, taking care to put complex legal issues into easily understandable language. I take great pride in developing real connections with clients; treating clients with respect and spending time to make sure that they fully understand the process they are going through.
