Eric is a Special Needs Advisor and specializes in helping families of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities between the ages of 14-21. Eric created this role to address the frustration he felt while working to get his son’s services in place. He joined Planning Across the Spectrum to help families with special needs, like his, to navigate the disability maze.

Eric recognizes there is much more to a family’s financial well-being than insurance and investment management. Often families have more pressing issues or concerns to be addressed. Therefore, Eric provides a comprehensive, holistic evaluation of a family’s financial status and listens to their goals. He explains financial, investment, benefit and insurance options and makes appropriate recommendations, including how families can manage their own finances or recommending that they seek ongoing help from a certified financial planner.

Eric earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance & Information Systems and is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP). He also holds certifications as a Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC®), a Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant (ChFEBC) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®). He is active in the community and he serves as a board member for both the Special Education Citizens Advisory Board and Resource Connections Inc.

Eric’s enjoys hiking, traveling, and mountain biking throughout Maryland.
