Abacus Wealth Partners
Jason Pollens’ journey to a career in financial planning began in 2008 when he discovered his mom had been taken advantage of financially by a stockbroker. Helping his mom through the process of getting her finances in order after this ordeal led him to a career change into financial planning. Jason started off at a non-profit in Boston, where he managed a financial coaching program that worked primarily with low and moderate-income individuals, as well as individuals with special needs. This experience provided Jason the opportunity to begin working with the special needs community and learn about the support available.
In 2021, Jason joined Abacus Wealth Partners as a financial advisor in Northern California. He enjoys working with individuals and families to develop a holistic financial plan and investment strategy tailored to their goals and in harmony with their values. His previous work experience and personal experiences with family members and close friends with disabilities have led him to develop a focus on working with families that have special needs considerations.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL ADVISOR™ Jason provides comprehensive financial planning and investment management on an ongoing basis. He is committed to supporting families with special needs in helping them align their money with their goals and values.
Jason lives in San Francisco, CA with his wife and two young children.
