Profession LogoFINANCIAL PLANNER

One in five people in the U.S. will have some type of special need or disability in their lifetime, according to the USDA. Whether Down syndrome, autism or a genetic disorder, it may affect their entire lives without the hope of a cure. Or it may develop due to an accident, catastrophic illness and cognitive decline from aging.

Many of those with special needs are children. If you’re the parent of a child with special needs, your mission is to help your child live a life that is as rich and full as possible.

I am passionate about helping such parents manage their financial futures for one very simple reason: I am the mother of a daughter with special needs.

I have also authored a white paper, “Charting the Right Course,” addressing the key financial challenges for parents of children with special needs.
Capabilities to impact your life and wealth

My approach is designed to solve the range of challenges for special needs families on an ongoing, long-term basis via a three-phase process:
– Using a consultative process to gain a detailed understanding of not just your family’s most important financial needs and wants, but also your deepest values and goals that drive your financial decisions
– Offering customized options and solutions designed around your family’s specific needs and goals
– Delivering these tailored solutions in close partnership with you and your other professional advisors

My professional achievements and education
– Over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry
– Chartered Special Needs Consultant® (ChSNC®)
– Series 7 and 66 securities licenses
– Health, life, variable annuity and variable life insurance licenses
– Bachelor of Business Administration, the George Washington University

Outside the office
– I live in Westport, CT with my husband, Jason, three daughters, Parker, Skyler and Quinn, and puppy, Galley
