Myra Prestidge is an attorney practicing estate planning and special needs planning in Santa Cruz County, California.  She prepares trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and advance health care directives for individuals and families and assists clients with the administration of a trust after the death of a family member.

Myra has a strong interest in special needs planning.  She believes that special needs planning is an important tool both to protect the beneficiary’s access to government benefits such as SSI, Medi-Cal, and subsidized housing, and to help provide the best quality of life possible for the beneficiary.

Myra graduated from the Santa Clara University School of Law and has a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, in history and sociology from the University of California at Santa Cruz.  She also has certifications in mediation and elder law mediation.  She is a member of the State Bar of California, the Santa Cruz County Estate Planning Council, the Academy of Special Needs Planners, and WealthCounsel.

Before practicing estate planning and special needs planning, Myra served as a state administrative law judge and as an assistant city attorney for several Bay Area cities.

Myra sees clients at offices in downtown Santa Cruz and in Soquel, California.  She also offers Zoom meetings for clients who wish to meet from their home or office.
