Anne Elizabeth McGowin earned her BA from the University of Alabama and her JD from Cumberland School of Law. She has practiced in numerous legal and management positions in the private, institution and public settings.  She combined these experiences with her passion to create Senior Law Solutions, LLC in 2017.

Senior Law Solutions, LLC is built on team-based planning. The team based/holistic approach includes Life Care Plans which define, organize and prioritizes the client’s care.  Life Care planning includes traditional senior law services (incapacity planning, asset preservation, public benefits qualifications, estate planning) as well as case coordination, family education, healthcare and financial decision-making, care advocacy, crisis intervention and support.  Clients in a life care planning practice include those who are planning for their senior years or living them.

 Ms. McGowin is active in Life Care Planning Law Firms Association (Membership and Marketing Committee) and National Association of Elder Law and Special Needs Attorneys [“NAELA” (State Chapter Advocacy Committee)]. Her other professional memberships include: Montgomery Estate Planning Council, Elder law division of the Alabama Bar Association, American Bar Association, Elder Counsel and Wealth Counsel.

On the personal side, Anne Elizabeth is married to Bill McGowin and they have two daughters and two dogs. She is an active member of the Sunrise Rotary Club and serves on the Youth Services Committee.  She has spent many years working with community programs (i.e. Alzheimer’s Association Community Speaker) but focuses most of her spare time at St. John’s Episcopal church.  As a member there, she has served in many roles and presently teaches confirmation and serves on the flower guild.
