The Estate Planning and Probate Group ofSessions, Fishman, Nathan & Israel, L.L.C. has a long, distinguished history serving the legal needs of individuals and families in New Orleans and throughout Louisiana. Our legal team includes some of the most accomplished estate planning and probate lawyers in Louisiana:

• As a longtime member of the Louisiana Law Institute, our senior partner, Max Nathan Jr., is a principal author of Louisiana legislation on community property, successions, donations, wills and partnerships.
• Two of our lawyers, Max Nathan Jr. and Carole Cukell Neff, wrote the pre-eminent treatise on Louisiana estate planning and administration law: Louisiana Estate Planning, Will Drafting and Estate Administration (LEXIS Law Publishing, Second Edition).
• Three of our attorneys, Max Nathan Jr., Carole Cukell Neff and Eric M. Schorr, are board-certified Estate Planning and Estate Administration Specialists, certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization.
• One of our attorneys, Carole Cukell Neff, Is the sole New Orleans member of the Special Needs Alliance, and one of our attorneys, Eric M. Schorr, is a member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners and holds a Master of Laws Degree in Elder Law Planning.
