Profession LogoFINANCIAL PLANNER

When Britta decided to work in personal finance, she researched the best way to enter the profession without compromising her ideals. She realized that the best way forward would be to become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and practice in a fiduciary, fee-only, and holistic capacity.

Britta considers financial planning to be a helping profession. She has always striven to make her career provide more value than simply helping rich people get richer. In 2018 she decided to narrow her primary focus to serving those with disabilities and their families. As a Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC®), Britta is equipped for the unique financial challenges of planning for the future for people with special needs.

Britta provides comprehensive planning on an ongoing basis and enjoys working with clients interested in growing and sustaining their wealth as a means to achieving their ideal life, whether that involves traveling to exotic locations or making a difference in their communities.

Britta has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, Financial Advisor Magazine, and The Plain Dealer. She has also been interviewed in the WSJ’s Your Money Briefing podcast.

Britta and her husband Craig live in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio, where they enjoy playing board games, ballroom dancing, and spending time with their dogs, Wombat and Kookaburra.

Firm Description

Tranquil Path Financial Planning was founded with the idea that financial planning is a helping profession. As part of this, we are dedicated to helping people with special needs and their families create fulfilling lives.

Our goal as a company is not just to help you grow richer. We approach money as a tool to help people and their families create lasting joy and fulfillment.

Tranquil Path Financial Planning was built upon three pillars reflecting our values when working with our clients.

  • ALWAYS IN YOUR BEST INTEREST: We are fiduciaries in the strictest sense. Your needs are our top priority.

  • PARTNERS IN YOUR JOURNEY: Financial planning is a collaborative process, which is why we team up with you to create your plan. While we provide you with precise recommendations and are here to be your sounding board in your decision-making, you are still in charge of your financial decision.

  • ALWAYS RESPECTFUL: There is nothing more important to us than ensuring your financial needs are met with timeliness and accuracy. That’s why we always respond to your questions and deliver our recommendations promptly. Moreover, we do not insert our values and goals on you.

We primarily work with client remotely but are happy to set up in person meetings in Independence, Ohio near Rockside and I-77.
