Liz found the path to financial planning while attending national disability conferences held in the DC area when she was a live-in care giver and member of L’Arche home. She grew frustrated that not enough people were doing the work to educate families and lift the earning potential of ready to work people who receive government benefits, and realized that she could be a part of the solution if she became a financial planner herself.

Liz works with families and individuals to plan financially for full and meaningful lives, in particular navigating Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.  In her dual role as a planner and advocate, she regularly connects with financial planning professional groups to ensure other professionals know the importance of planning to the individual needs of our clients instead of making general assumptions about what they can and cannot do. She also regularly attends advocacy conferences and aims to be an active ally to the autism, disability and neurodivergent communities.
