Janet earned her Bachelor of Accounting from Central Methodist University. 

Local non-profits and charities near and dear to her heart include: Her church and bible study classes, Life Inc., Habitat for Humanity of St. Francois County, Hope 4 Autism, Autos 4 Autism, United Way of St. Francois County, Par-Tee Fore Kids Charity, and The West County Community Hope Center.
