I’m Mike Moonan, a Certified Senior Advisor and dedicated Special Needs Planner. Working with families of children with special needs isn’t part of what I do — it’s all I do. I’ve built Safe Harbor to be a trusted partner for families looking to protect their child’s future, preserve vital benefits, and create a plan that brings clarity and calm.
Parents come to me overwhelmed by questions like:

*How do we protect benefits without losing flexibility?*  
*Who will make sure our child is safe, secure, and supported in the years ahead?*

I’ve walked this path with countless families, and I’m here to guide you with empathy, strategy, and solutions that work.

When I’m not helping families plan for the future, I’m likely on the court. I’m a Senior Pro Pickleball Player and the Lead Teaching Pro for Engage Pickleball, where I help players of all ages improve their game with purpose and precision.

My partner Ginger and I split our time between Northern and Southern California, and we love exploring new places with our loyal dog, Max. Whether I’m coaching on the court or planning with a family across the table, I believe in showing up fully — with heart, clarity, and commitment.
