Firm Description

ACT for Life Services (Disabled and Alone / Life Services for the Handicapped) was established as a non-profit in 1988 to meet the compelling need expressed by families and individuals with disabilities as they searched for answers to the questions:

Who will be there for our loved one when we are gone?

How do we maintain Governmental Benefits and provide for a higher quality of life?

ACT for Life Services has established itself to:

(1) provide advocacy and oversight for individuals with disabilities where assets have been designated for their benefit and.

(2) help families plan for when they will no longer be able to care for their loved ones OR provide individuals the use of trusts to maintain/obtain their Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Medicaid, other governmental benefits and customized supports if needed and desired.

(3) provide Supplemental Needs Trust Services (First and Third Party) to enable individuals with disabilities to maintain government benefits while providing for the “needed” extras in life to ensure a higher standard of living and quality services.
