My vision is to help empower Louisiana individuals and families that experience living with a chronic disability to develop financial objectives for an independent and fulfilling lifestyle.  Once the objectives are clearly defined,  my mission is to impartially advise on potential services, instruments, and financial products that are designed to meet the needs of present and future generations.

I am a lifelong resident of Opelousas.  My wife, Andrea, and I have been married 14 years.  Together we raise our 11 year old daughter, Briseis.  I am in a unique position as a Special Needs Financial Planner because Briseis has Warburg Micro Syndrome which requires Andrea and I to advocate for her medical, educational, legal, financial, and community inclusion needs.  I understand the importance of providing a dignified and independent lifestyle for a dependent with special needs.  To provide that type of lifestyle it is very helpful to attain or retain government assistance along with prudent financial planning.  Just being a father of a child with special care needs, however,  does not make one an appropriate choice to advocate for yourself or your dependent with special needs as your Special Needs Planner, which is why I have studied and attanined my ChFC® and ChSNC™ designations.  I am also a member of The Academy of Special Needs Planners.  I am an alumus of Louisiana Partners in Policymaking.  I advocate for inclusion with home and community based care  and education as a member of LaCAN for people with special needs at the local, state, and federal levels of governemnt.
